Eden Green started as a vegetarian restaurant from 2002 to 2003 in Cebu City near Parian Mabini Street. At that time, it was considered one of the first Vegetarian/Vegan restaurants in the city. With the purpose of promoting a healthy vegetarian diet, the restaurant was built through the willingness of a Cebuano to share the message about a healthy diet and his rising concern for his fellow men. Slipping through the society that barely survives without meat, the restaurant operated for only 1 year and a half.
